I’ve been everything from a lab rat managing and doing quality control in a large commercial photo processing plant in the eighties, slapping out 700 – 900 rolls of everyone’s pictures daily, making sure enlargements and color corrections were spot on, to a counter sales guy at one of Windsor’s oldest photo stores, Turek Camera, selling the goodies.
All the while, shooting weddings every weekend, and whatever professional sporting event I was lucky to get access to in between. (ah.. the 80’s)
At this stage in life, and as part of Square Media Group here in Windsor, I’ve found my happy place working alongside Ian Shalapata at The Square, where I’m presently doing sports and general assignment work.
From Detroit to Windsor ( and beyond ) — hockey games, concerts, track & field, council meetings, accidents to fires, I could well be there making images.
